These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Treasure Coast Locksmith website at treasurecoastlocksmith.com and any locksmith services provided by Treasure Coast Locksmith ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Service Terms
Treasure Coast Locksmith is a licensed Florida locksmith providing residential, commercial, automotive, safe, and door hardware services across the Treasure Coast region. All work is performed by direct employees — we do not sub-contract to third parties.
Service requests can be made by phone at (772) 758-1322, through our website contact form, or by email at [email protected]. A service request is not a binding contract until we confirm the appointment and you authorize the work.
We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, including situations where we cannot verify property ownership or authorization, or where the requested work would compromise security or violate the law.
Service Area
We provide mobile locksmith services across St. Lucie County, Martin County, and Indian River County, Florida. This includes but is not limited to: Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Stuart, Vero Beach, Jensen Beach, Palm City, Hobe Sound, Sebastian, Tradition, Hutchinson Island, Indiantown, Jupiter Island, and surrounding communities.
Service availability outside these areas is at our discretion and may involve additional travel charges communicated before work begins.
Pricing and Estimates
We provide phone estimates and on-site quotes before beginning work. Estimates given by phone are based on the information you provide and may be adjusted after on-site assessment if conditions differ from what was described.
You will be informed of the final price before work begins. If additional work beyond the original scope is needed, we will explain the issue and provide a revised quote. No additional work is performed without your verbal or written authorization.
Service call fees, trip charges, and after-hours surcharges (if applicable) are disclosed at the time of scheduling. Visit our pricing page for general rate ranges.
Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless a commercial account with net-15 or net-30 terms has been established in advance.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash
- All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
- Debit cards
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
Invoices are emailed upon request. For commercial clients, we offer net-15 and net-30 payment terms under a master service agreement.
Emergency and After-Hours Service
We offer 24/7 emergency locksmith service including lockouts, burglary damage repair, and urgent lock changes. Emergency and after-hours calls (outside standard operating hours) may be subject to an after-hours surcharge.
The surcharge amount will be disclosed when you call and before a technician is dispatched. You must agree to the surcharge before we send a technician.
Warranties
Treasure Coast Locksmith provides a workmanship warranty on all labor performed. If a lock, key, or hardware component we installed or repaired fails due to our workmanship within the warranty period, we will return and correct the issue at no additional labor charge.
Warranty terms:
- Labor warranty — 90 days from the date of service on all standard locksmith work.
- Parts warranty — Manufacturer's warranty applies to all hardware, locks, and key blanks we supply. Warranty claims on parts are handled through the manufacturer.
- Exclusions — Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, forced entry by third parties, normal wear and tear, unauthorized modification of installed hardware, or acts of nature.
To make a warranty claim, call (772) 758-1322 and reference your original service date and invoice number.
Limitation of Liability
Treasure Coast Locksmith's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage to doors, frames, locks, or vehicles discovered during service
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost access, or business interruption)
- Damage caused by third parties after our work is completed
- Delays in service due to traffic, weather, or circumstances beyond our control
- Lock or security failures caused by defective products from the manufacturer
We carry general liability insurance and workers compensation insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request for commercial and property management clients.
Property Ownership and Authorization
By requesting locksmith services, you represent that you are the property owner, authorized tenant, or have legal authorization to request the service at the given location or on the given vehicle.
For vehicle services, we may ask for identification and proof of ownership or registration. For residential and commercial services, we may ask for identification and proof of tenancy or ownership. We reserve the right to refuse service if authorization cannot be reasonably verified.
Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled service at no charge if you notify us before a technician is dispatched. If a technician has already been dispatched and is en route or on-site, a trip charge may apply. The trip charge amount will have been disclosed at the time of booking.
